On March 24, Kim Sae Ron's latest social media update shocked the public as she uploaded a seemingly sweet photo with Kim Soo Hyun.
The controversial actress updated her Instagram Story with a selfie with the "Queen of Tears" actor. But within minutes, Kim Sae Ron deleted it. However, netizens were quick to capture screenshots of the picture.
This then ignited a dating speculation, and the two immediately became the center of discussions on multiple online platforms.

Apart from it being the most-talked-about topic online, Kim Soo Hyun's past remark on his plans for marriage resurfaced. The celebrity mentioned during his interview amid promotions for "Secretly, Greatly" in 2013 that he might marry a 21-year-old when he turns 41.
Kim Soo Hyun was born in 1988, and is now 36 years old.
On the other hand, the actress was born in 2000, and is turning 25 in July. The two have a 12-year gap.

On the same day, Kim Soo Hyun's agency GoldMedalist was quick to release a statement, explaining that they were still checking on the news.
Then, GoldMedalist made an update denying the dating issue surrounding their artist Kim Soo Hyun.
"We are informing you that Kim Soo Hyun's dating rumors are not true. The picture that has been spread online appears to have been taken in the past when Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were under the same agency."
GoldMedalist added that they are completely unable to understand Kim Sae Ron's motive for uploading the photo.
The agency also asked the public to avoid unnecessary issues and statements that might affect the image of their artist. They added that they will take strong legal action against people who spread malicious slander and insulting posts through their legal representatives.

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun currently headlines "Queen of Tears," alongside Kim Ji Won. The two star as a married couple, whose marriage is on the brink of divorce.
