After crash landing on you with the amazing ending, everybody can't get enough of the actors that make everyone fall in love. Everyone is checking what's next then. Let us check out Soon Ye-jin hit drama series one of which is "Something in the Rain" must watch.

The hit series season premiered in JTBC on March 30, 2018. Hitting 16 episodes, "Something in the Rain" aired on Netflix April 13, 2018. This allowed international viewers to enjoy all the episodes with complete subtitles. A lot of viewers are still hoping for a season 2 of the said series. Looking for love and answers not only to the characters but to the compelling real-life stories of many.

It's one of the beautiful and distinctive drama to get hooked with. The director Ahn Pan-Seok brings the complexities of the storyline. A single woman pressured by family and society to marry a man of her dreams.

In this regard, Yoon Jin-ah (played by Son Ye Jin) a single woman in her mid-30's. She spends most of her time with her good friend Gyeong-Seon (played by Jang So Yeon). The story takes a new twist when Jin-ah runs into Gyeong-Seon's younger brother. Jun-hui (played by Jung Ha In) comes back from abroad.

Jun-hui was able to work in the same company with her sister, it was unavoidable not to spend time with Yoon Jin-ah. The romantic and fun scened in-betweens makes it exciting. The couple spending time and are happy together making each encounter so real that it attached you to it.

The emotions they showed are so deep that the story comes to life every episode. In their quest for happiness, they met the society's taboo culture if they meant to be. The age gap relationship, the family's reputation, officemates, and friendship. In a relationship, wherein not all approve - who gest hurt the most, who fight for their love against all odds? The thrill and circumstances make the drama etched to your heart as you watch. It does not only shows a couple who falls in love against the world. Yet in many ways, it also depicts a viewer's life in real-life stories.

The narrative seasoned and mature which gives it a fresh appeal. With each episode, the director and the actors peel off different layers to the narrative with ease. Showcasing pressures of society, class, and gender and relationships. Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin give stellar performances.

They are so believable in their roles that you end up rooting for them in real life as well. There has been a rumor for season 2 to be in casting and so forth. The casting might be rolling March 2020. We should get an update since we already hold to Son Ye-jin early this year. There are so many sides of the story to explore. The drama series provided a lot of nominations and won major awards for both actors and actresses around South Korea.
