New KBS Daily Drama ‘Love Riding a Song’ Young Actors New Theme

KBS 1TV new daily drama "Love Riding a Song" (Script Hong Young Hee Production Lee Duk Gun) exceeded 20% in ratings.

On November 5th, Nielsen Korea, the ratings company, "Love Riding a Song" broadcast for the first time on November 4th ranked 23.5% in ratings.

This is 1.9% higher than "Ji Sung then Gam Chun" that was its predecessor which rated 21.6% on April 29th and rated #1 in this time frame.

On this day, KBS daily drama showed how younger it got. With Sista Dasom as the youngest cast member, Baek Sung Hyun, Hwang Sun Hee, SS501 Kim Hyung Joon and "new blood" added in energy to the drama. Moreover, the drama added a new genre of musicals that hadn't been used in daily dramas and was innovative for viewers.

In this episode, aspiring music actors Gong Deul Im (played by Dasom) met by happenstance lawyer Bark Hyun Woo (played by Baek Sung Hyun) and features the stories of Gong Soo Im (played by Hwang Sun Hee) and Han Tae Kyung (played by Kim Hyung Joon).

Dasom was especially passionate in her acting despite it being her first mainstream drama and showed liveliness in her expressions and was natural in her delivery of lines as she melted into the script.

Meanwhile, on this day, MBC "Princess Aurora" rated 14.7% and KBS 2TV "Ruby Rings" rated 14.4%. SBS "Ugly Warning" rated 9.9%.
