According to reports revealed on the 12th that Kang Kyung-joon, along with a woman identified as Mrs. A, disappeared following the public disclosure of the actor's alleged involvement in an adulterous relationship.

The disappearance of Kang Kyung-joon and Mrs. A, who have been absent from work since the 4th, has left their employer seeking explanations.

Despite the company's efforts to address the situation, the two individuals only responded with a vague statement claiming a "misunderstanding" before losing contact. The Instagram account of Kang Kyung-Joon has also been deleted last January 8th.

K-Star Global ENT, Kang Kyung-joon's agency, initially responded to the lawsuit on the 3rd, stating they would sequentially address the matter.

However, explicit messages exchanged between Kang Kyung-jun and Mrs. A surfaced on the 8th, revealing sentiments like "I want to hug you," "I love you," and "my own thoughts."

In light of this, the actor issued an apology, expressing regret for causing social controversy.

The agency revealed that Kang Kyung-joon's exclusive contract had expired in October of the previous year, and discussions about its extension were ongoing.

However, with the emergence of the scandal, talks about renewing the contract were halted until the matter is resolved.

Kang Kyung-joon, who is married to actress Jang Shin-young since 2018, has two sons, and the couple previously showcased their affectionate family life on popular shows like SBS' 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' and KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman.'
