Lee Dong Wook sent fans into a frenzy as netizens gushed over the actor's special treatment of his staff.
Other than his amazing fan service, the South Korean top star is also known for his goofy personality, not just with his fellow actors but also with crew members.
Lee Dong Wook's Unique Way of Reading Script Sparks Laughter
The news comes after the behind-the-scenes video of the K-drama "The of the Nine-Tailed 1938" resurfaced online.
In the short clip, Lee Dong Wook was spotted reading his script in between shots with co-star Ryu Kyungsoo.
However, what the public noticed was the way the top star read his script, which was placed on the top of a staff member's head while both of them were standing.
Lee Dong Wook, who stands 6 feet, seemed comfortable running through his lines while the much shorter staff served as his improvised reading stand and appeared to be unbothered by it.
While the photo looked unusual, fans gushed over the actor's quirks to his staff.
On X, formerly Twitter, netizens poked fun at Lee Dong Wook and explained the possible scenario in the photo.
While it might look rude or strange to some, fans pointed out that Lee Dong Wook often makes fun of and plays around with his staff during shoots.
Interestingly, the majority of the fans praised the actor for his unique relationship with the staff members and even joked about applying to be Lee Dong Wook's reading stand.
As mentioned by netizens, the top star has a tight-knit relationship with his staff.
In fact, in 2019, his agency, King Kong by Starship, uploaded a behind-the-scenes video while filming his drama "Touch Your Heart."
At the time, they were filming in freezing weather when a staff member approached him for an interview.
Instead of answering the question, he realized that the staff member seemed cold and told the person, "It seems like your hands are freezing. I have ordered some gloves for you."
Apart from this, the actor also captured the hearts of netizens when he was spotted moving the film equipment and helping the crew clear the area. This was during the filming of "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938."
