The 60th Baeksang Arts Awards nominees garnered the public's attention as fans expressed their disappointment in this year's list.

Netizens Calls Out 60th Baeksang Arts Awards for Snubbing THESE Stars in Best Actress Award

Scheduled for May 7, 2024, in Seoul at 17:00 (KST), the night will be filled with dazzling stars who will grace the red carpet with their presence.

As part of the annual ceremony, the organizers have released the list of 60th Baeksang Arts Awards nominees to honor individuals and works for their huge contribution in the entertainment industry.

The candidates consist of TV shows and films that aired from April 1, 2023, until March 31, 2024.

Interestingly, the nominee list featured deserving stars. This includes Ra Mi Ran ("The Good Bad Mother"), Ahn Eun Jin ("My Dearest"), Uhm Jung Hwa ("Doctor Cha"), Honey Lee ("Knight Flower"), and Lim Ji Yeon ("Lies Hidden in My Garden").

However, others think that the organization failed to recognize some deserving talents.

On X, formerly Twitter, fans expressed their disbelief that Kim Ji Won failed to join the Best Actress for TV category.

While his "Queen of Tears'' co-star Kim Soo Hyun earned a nod for the Best Actor category, viewers were criticizing the decision for not including the actress in the category.

Kim Ji Won is making headlines as she plays heiress Hong Hae In.

While the series continues to impress global fans, making it one of the most watched TV shows on Netflix, the series also becomes the 3rd highest-rated TVN K-drama next to all-time biggest hits like "Goblin" and "Crash Landing on You."

"Moving" is definitely one of the most talked-about K-dramas in 2023. Not only did it feature a star-studded cast, but Han Hyo Joo also perfectly portrayed the role of Lee Mi Hyun.

Despite her first time portraying a mother role, viewers were drawn to her captivating acting, showing the true emotions of a single mother.

Unfortunately, the top star failed to land any nominations, but at the height of "Moving," viewers were convinced that she would get a nod as Best Actress.

Meanwhile, her co-star Ryu Seung Ryong was nominated for the Best Actor category and will be competing against Kim Soo Hyun, Namgoong Min, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Im Siwan.

Han So Hee

Despite being embroiled in a scathing controversy, viewers think that Han So Hee deserved a nod at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards.

The actress received positive reviews for her emotional performance in "Gyeongseong Creature," where she stars alongside Park Seo Joon.

Unfortunately, she is among this year's biggest snubs at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards, joining Han Hyo Joo and Kim Ji Won.
