Kim Ji Hoon Marks His Hollywood Debut Through Amazon Series 'Butterfly'

On April 19, Kim Ji Hoon delivered good news to fans as a media outlet announced his forthcoming debut in American entertainment.

Based on the reports, the actor will join forces with Daniel Dae Kim for an exciting project.

Kim Ji Hoon's agency Big Picture E&T confirmed the news and stated that the male star will make his appearance in the new Amazon Prime Video series "Butterfly."

What We Know So Far About Kim Ji Hoon's First American Series

"Butterfly" is based on the graphic novel of the same name, and follows the journey of David Jeong, a mysterious former U.S. intelligence agent whose life falls apart due to a choice he makes, and Rebecca, a current agent who is ordered to kill him.

It is a drama depicting a story of chasing and being chased. It has been said that this work captivated the audience and quickly gained a lot of attention as Korean-American actor Daniel Dae Kim took on both the lead role and production.

"Butterfly" is said to hit the screen as an original series on Amazon's online video service (OTT) Prime Video sometime this 2024.

He will be the next K-actor to make a Hollywood debut following Park Seo Joon in the American movie "The Marvels."
