‘The Atypical Family’ Episode 1: Chun Woo Hee Tries to Deal With Jang Ki Yong

Bok Gwi Ju (Jang Ki Yong) was at the lowest point of his life when Do Da Hae (Chun Woo Hee) appeared to save him in "The Atypical Family" Episode 1.

'The Atypical Family' Episode 1: Do Da Hae Saves Bok Gwi Ju

JTBC's newest fantasy drama "The Atypical Family" debuted on May 4, and introduced the Bok family's situation of acquiring back their superpowers. 

Do Da Hae rescued Bok Gwi Ju from falling into the sea and performed artificial respiration.

Bok Man Heum (Go Doo Shim), who was despairing because her family could not use their superpowers, was disappointed when she realized too late that she had not asked for Do Hae's contact details to thank her for saving her son. 

Unexpectedly, Bok Man Heum reunited with Da Hae at the spa center. The young woman succeeded in getting the old lady, who suffered from insomnia, to sleep. She was impressed by Da Hae's skills and used their second meeting to invite her home.

Do Hae arrived at the Bok's mansion and met again Bok Gwi Ju, who was having a hard time opening the wine bottle. Curiosity sparked when she pushed the wine bottle and broke it on purpose, but Gwi Ju ignored her. 

Bok Man Heum Wants Do Da Hae to Marry Her Son 

However, Bok Man Heum was already in love with Do Da Hae's personality. She asked Da Hae to make home service and during their conversation, the young lady confessed that she was alone. She was married twice, but both relationships didn't work out. She added that she was impatient since she wanted to have a family soon. 

Bok Man Heum also said that she had the same dream for his son, Gwi Ju who lost his wife in an accident. 

Afterward, in a precognitive dream she had for the first time in a long time, Man Heum saw Da Hae wearing the family ring. The moment she woke up, she was sure that Do Da Hae was the savior who would restore their superpowers. 

Due to this, Bok Man Heum tried to set up Gwi Ju and Da Hae with the goal of marrying each other. 

Do Do Hae Tries to Deal With Bok Gwi Ju

Man Heum invited Da Hae on Bok Ina's birthday, Gwi Ju's daughter. He learned that the stranger was coming to the house and discovered his mom's agenda of setting him up with Da Hae. 

As the story progressed, it was revealed that Do Da Hae and her family were scammers. They are trying to get the Bok family's trust to fulfill their hidden agenda. However, Da Hae becomes skeptical of Gwi Ju's clan as his daughter confessed that they have superpowers.
