Debuting as a six-member boy group, ASTRO, he managed to make a name for himself as an actor, starring in various hit K-dramas.

With his 8-year career as one of the sought-after lead stars, Cha Eun Woo recalled his early years as a K-pop star during his appearance in "Yoo Quiz on the Block."

In the latest teaser of the tvN variety show, hosted by Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho, Cha Eun Woo talked about his struggles as an idol.

Dubbed a "face genius" because of his amazing visuals, he revealed that he was once criticized for his talent.

Recalling his rookie years, he confessed his true feelings about being judged for his ability to perform on stage.

"I was sad because I was scolded for not being able to sing and dance."

Besides his experience as an idol, Cha Eun Woo briefly mentioned his younger brother.

"My brother is majoring in journalism and broadcasting."

To recall, Cha Eun Woo's brother made fans swoon over because of the similarity between him and the "My ID Is Gangnam Beauty" star.

The alleged photo of the actor's sibling circulated in various online communities like wildfire with netizens gushing over his charm.

Per reports, the idol-actor's brother is an international student and is reportedly studying at Fudan University, according to Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu. It is considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in China.

Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo's guest appearance in "Yoo Quiz on the Block" will air on May 8 at 8:45 PM via tvN.

Cha Eun Woo had a jam-packed schedule in the first half of 2024.

He returned to the small screen with the thriller-mystery drama "Wonderful World" with Kim Nam Joo, Im Se Mi, and Kim Kang Woo.

Following the finale, the South Korean heartthrob met his Asian fans for a series of fan meetings.

The Asian fan-con tour, titled "2024: Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator]," kicked off in Seoul on February 17.

It was then followed by the meet and greet on the 24th, followed by Bangkok on March 9.

Through the month of March, Cha Eun Woo met his fans from the Philippines through a meet-and-greet in Manila on March 16.

He then headed to Japan for a 2-day fan meet, followed by Singapore, and finally Jakarta on April 20.

In a greeting video, Cha Eun Woo shared that he "put a lot of effort into preparing fun performances" by showing his new sides to his fans.
