ECLIPSE's 'Sudden Shower' Climbs to Top 22 in MelOn Chart

Through "Lovely Runner," the fictional boy band ECLIPSE debuted. While they only exist in the romantasy series, they also surprisingly managed to rise to stardom and secured spots on a real-life major music chart.

In "Lovely Runner" Episode 1, ECLIPSE performed live for the fans and sang "Sudden Shower." Following this, fans and viewers found themselves listening to it nonstop.

Soon enough, "Sudden Shower" debuted on the Top 100 on the MelOn, landing on the 92nd seat. But as the series progressed, the song also climbed up to No. 22!

Meanwhile, it was revealed that Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok) was the one who composed the song, with Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) as his inspiration.

ECLIPSE Members: Get To Know the Artists in the Fictional Band

Despite being a fictional group, ECLIPSE is famous, with their own fans wanting them to perform live.

ECLIPSE has four members, namely Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok), lead vocalist and the mastermind behind the lyrics "Sudden Shower" in the drama.

Baek In Hyuk is played by real-life idol Lee Seung Hyub (N.Flying leader), who exhibits his talent in playing the guitar.

Completing them are Hyun Soo (Moon Xion), the drummer, while Jay (Yang Hyuk) is the bassist.

The boy band is receiving unwavering support from the viewers and the drama's fans as if they exist as a real-life idol group.

Byeon Woo Seok Sings 'Sudden Shower' as Part of 'Lovely Runner' OST

Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok also showcased his talent in singing as he originally sang "Sudden Shower."

The other three songs of "Lovely Runner" OST, "You and I," "No Fate," and "Run Run" were also recorded by the actor.

It has been said that in order to fully bring Ryu Sun Jae's character to life, who is a top star in the drama, the heartthrob had vocal lessons and sang the four official soundtracks of the series.

ECLIPSE Members to Possibly Reunite in Real-Life

On May 9, according to a news report, tvN, the broadcasting company that produces "Lovely Runner," delivered exciting news to the drama's avid viewers.

It was revealed that the drama's team is in discussion to hold a special event soon due to the ongoing fame of the rom-com series.

They hinted that since "Lovely Runner" also showcases music, there's a possibility that the cast members will have a live concert-like performance.

This information gave the fans and viewers high hopes that Eclipse members would have a reunion in front of the fans and perform some of their songs, in particular, 'Sudden Shower.'
