Beyonce's "Partition" music video has seen the light of day, and it is drawing mixed reactions from fans and non-fans alike. The superstar announced it on her Facebook page by sharing a photo from the VEVO Facebook account, which featured a screenshot of a silhouette scene from the video. The link went to the music video on the Beyonce YouTube Vevo page.

"Partition" was labeled "explicit video" and it really is. It's an overtly sexy music video, featuring the singer in various scanty costumes and extremely suggestive poses. It's about a bored wife, fantasizing about seducing her husband, played by Beyonce's real life husband, Jay-Z. The song's lyrics were equally naughty, with lines like, "Driver roll up the partition please. I don't need you seeing Yonce on her knees. Took 45 minutes to get all dressed up. We ain't even gonna make it to this club."

Beyonce was said to have been inspired by girls dancing at the Crazy Horse cabaret nightclub in Paris. The venue eventually became the location for the video.

As it turns out, the video was something fans and non-fans of Beyonce would either love or hate. It's drawing mixed reactions online, with people debating on whether the video sends the wrong message or not.

A comment on VEVO flatly said, "The utter lack of modesty gets uncomfortable in parts," while another said, "I wonder what type of message she is sending to her small child. When it gets older it'll ask its mother what and why does she do that? Pretty tragic."

Others thought the contrary. One posted, "Wow she is so sexy. The baddest chick in the game now, no questions asked. Oh, and for the people calling her a whore, you realize she is lusting after her husband?" The rest of the comments were either calling the video "disgusting" and "ridiculous" or simply praising the video for its sexiness.

On the entertainment website Oh No They Didn't, the response was mostly positive. "This song + video really is a career highlight for her," one poster said. "This song still hasn't gotten old for me omg," another commented.

"Partition" is part of the Queen Bey's self-titled "visual" album. The record was released last December.
