Fans are excited to find out more about "Batman Arkham Knight" and its release date.
London-based developer Rocksteady has been good about keeping details well under wraps.
International Business Times has reported that the "Batman Arkham Knight" release date is set for fall.
The game's main antagonist, the Arkham Knight, remains a mystery, to the dismay of fans.
During an interview with Outside Xbox, Rocksteady Brand Marketing Producer Dax Ginn stated, "It's been really exciting for us, that opportunity doesn't come along very often ... to design a character in Batman's world. For him to be such an exciting part of the story and the Arkham universe, it's such a thrill."
Best Buy reportedly created a post on Twitter on March 30 about "Batman Arkham Knight," saying, "Masked as Bruce Wayne's son, drive the Batmobile & defend the city from notorious villains."
The tweet has brought on speculation that the main protagonist of the game won't be Bruce Wayne, but his son, Damian Wayne.
Details of the Batmobile have been released prior to the release date as well.
Gameranx reports that "Batman Arkham Knight" will be focused for use on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, which means that they will be able to deliver the game on a broader scale, and give higher attention to detail.
Dan Ginn reportedly said that they accomplished their goals of making a detailed world in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
The Batmobile will be transformed into a bulldozer, rather than its traditional race car look.
The protagonist will be able to bulldoze his way through an Arkham free of innocents.
We're sure this detail will keep fans even more excited about the game.
The specific release date for "Batman Arkham Knight" is October 14, 2014.
