On his Instagram account, "Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet expressed his dismay for KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley after the two reportedly disrespected his mother.

Stonestreet's mother, Jamey Stonestreet, has been exchanging texts with her son about sharing a flight with the two KISS members.

"I think Gene Simmons is on my flight," Jamey texted. "Do you think I should give him a kiss?"

"Turns out both Gene Simmons AND Paul Stanley were on my mom's flight to Kansas City," Stonstreet shared. "Gene tried to bully my mom out of her seat and when she said no, he said, it's ok, I just bought the plane and then asked her for HER autograph. -dick move."

"The Paul called her 'Aunt Bee' -dick move," he added. "I can't wait to run into you two old ass makeup wearing f---s and tell you in person; you should have been nicer to my mom,"

Simmons and Stanley quickly took to Twitter to deny Stonestreets's accusations and explained that the situation was overblown.

"Someone posted a story which is blatantly untrue," Simmons tweeted. "The essence of it was that we were mean to somebody's mother. It's simply untrue."

To which Stanley added: "I actually waited so your mom could get off first," he tweeted. "The rest-A misunderstanding of joking. I apologize anyway. Good son."

Stonestreet proving that he accepts the latter's apology, replied with: "Thank u for that. She did tell me you let her go first. I will tape my glow in the dark Kiss posters back together now."

However, the same graciousness was not extended as seen in his response to Simmons:

"OK @genesimmons. Take care. I assure u, I will have a stern talk with my mom about making up stories," he wrote. "Old people, ya know? OUR apologies:)."
