Marvel Ultimate Alliance returns as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is rumored to be in development for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is an action role-playing game that features various Marvel characters. The first Marvel Ultimate Alliance game was developed by Raven Software while the sequel, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is developed Vicarious Visions are both published by Activision.

According to reports from Cyberpunk.com, Marvel has started pitching new storylines for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 as the plot will be a mix of the "Secret Invasion" and the "Dark Reign" storyline of the Marvel Comics. Further details hinted that players can choose between the heroes and villains of the main Marvel universe as each category will have an effect in the plot of the story.
