"Community" fans are just happy that their favorite series will be back for season 6 on Yahoo Screen.
"Community" Season 6 is said to premiere in the third quarter of 2014.
In an interview, actor-writer Jim Rash shared with TVLine his ideas for a "Game of Thrones" themed episode.
"Maybe we could work that world [into Community]," Rash said. "There's got to be something you can battle for - what's the throne between [rival schools] City College and Greendale?"
TVLine further reports, "When the former NBC comedy makes its Yahoo Screen debut later this year, Rash would also like to see the simmering "issues between Dean and Britta" explored."
"Additionally, he's thrilled series creator Dan Harmon intends to spend more time in the great outdoors - something that was verboten in recent seasons. "It's as if there was a wall of security guards going, 'You cannot step outside of this stage,'" Rash explained. "As soon as you step outside, a million dollars falls out of Hollywood's pockets."
In a recent interview, NBC Chairman of Entertainment Robert Greenblatt said that he feels great about the series getting picked up by Yahoo.
"Yahoo's in a different business than we are, trying to build their platform, and they made an extraordinary deal. We're the co-owners of that show, and we're going to make money on it right away, which wouldn't have been the case if it had been on the network for another year."
But that's not the only thing fans should be happy about. Aside from the show having another season under its belt, it will also have a movie. In fact, it has already been approved.
"We try so hard and have a pretty decent record now of saving and/or rescuing some of our favorite shows, whether it's 'Damages' or 'Unforgettable.' Certainly, 'Community' is right in there in a passion project and it's got a storied past," said Sony president of programming Zack Van Amburg in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
What can you say about "Community" coming back for another season? Are you a fan of the show?
