Chris Hemsworth in "The Huntsman" movie will be crossing paths with Charlize Theron's Ravena character in the upcoming prequel, not a sequel, to "Snow White and the Huntsman." This time, however, Snow White bows out of the stage, sharing none of the spotlight.
Total Film has confirmed that the Frank Darabont directed movie will be focused on these two main characters, highlighting the manner whereby their lives entwined prior to Snow White's entrance. Chris Hemsworth in "The Huntsman" movie would be using an axe to fight off his opponents.
Moreover, looking at his photos, it is obvious that Chris Hemsworth in "The Huntsman" movie had also done a total image overhaul. Gone are his infamous hammer, cape and costume as Thor. He has also changed hairstyles, chopping off his sleek blonde locks and dying them a light brown shade.
Screenrant shared that in the fantasy-adventure flick Hemsworth would reprise his role as Eric while Theron plays Ravena once more. Darabont will be directing based on his script draft. However, writers Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulos will still receive credits for their efforts in writing the first draft.
According to Screenrant, there was a time when Kristen Stewart was set to take on her role of Snow White again in another film, probably a sequel. But Universal studios suddenly changed course and opted to do a prequel instead with focus on Hemsworth's huntsman character.
In releasing Stewart, the producers banked on the popularity of Hemsworth and Theron, while skirting around the risks of any bad publicity that the "Twilight" star could pull in.
Could the possible "bad publicity" have anything to do with the scandal involving Stewart? To date, the producers have not divulged any details regarding their reason for dropping the actress in the film. They are now all attention to the two leading stars (Hemsworth and Theron) and the plot that follows their connection.
Total Film reported that Chris Hemsworth in "The Huntsman" movie is due to hit cinemas on Aprill 22, 2016.
