The actor playing the head chef from the SBS drama 'Tasty Life', Ahn Suk Hwan, played the role of Sin Cham-pan, the father of the female lead, Jo Yeo Jeong, in the newly released film 'The Emperor's Concubine'.

From having worked with Jo Yeo Jeong and witnessed her acting prowess in person, Ahn Suk Hwan did not hold back any compliments. Rather, he raved about her performance and abilities as an actress. "She doesn't get shy during scenes that are awkward to film; rather, her confidence during those moments make her more admirable and respectable," he said.

Regarding the provocative and exposing scenes, Ahn Suk Hwan commented, "Because of Jo Yeo Jeong's ability to conquer and master these types of scenes, it is not important whether nudity is shown or not. The matter lies behind the fact that she knows how to portray exposure of her body, and this is a great feat. Above all, the work that she put into researching and experimenting with this field of acting makes me really proud as not only the father figure in the film, but also as an actor myself."

'The Emperor's Concubine' hit the theaters on June 6th, and has since garnered much attention and popularity in both the press and the movie-goers.
