"Insurgent" actor Ansel Elgort might have seen his star rise in Hollywood but there's a boyhood dream that has yet to be fulfilled until Sunday, Nov. 30. Meanwhle, the 20-year-old will join Eva Longoria to announce the list of nominees for the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The hunk has been a fan of the New York Knicks since he was a boy so on Sunday, he's at the game wearing Carmelo Anthony's jersey at the Madison Square Garden, Just Jared reported.
But he fulfilled his dream when his face was splashed on the jumbotron in the middle of the game. So "Insurgent" actor Ansel Elgort made sure that everybody knows about it when he posted the photo on Instagram with the caption: "I've been a huge Knicks fan my whole life. Tonight was amazing. They gave me sick seats and played a clip from #tfios and even put me on the screen. Dreams come true. Even tho the Knicks lost it was an epic night. I'm the luckiest guy in the world :) #knickstape."
Meanwhile, the actor will join the "Desperate Housewives" star on Wednesday, December 10 at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood to announce the nominations for the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, said The Wrap.
The awards night, produced by Avalon Harbor Entertainment, will be shown simultaneously on TNT and TBS on Sunday, January 25 at 8 p.m.
Ansel Elgort has had a very successful year with the huge showing at the box-office of "The Fault in Our Stars" and the "Divergent," opposite Hollywood's it girl, Shailene Woodley. The two were rumored to be dating, which they quickly denied.
"Insurgent" actor Ansel Elgort was also rumored to be dating "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland after he attended her birthday bash, where they were supposedly very cozy, a few days ago.
