The Amazing Spider-Man 3: Tobey Maguire Is The New Spidey Replacing Andrew Garfield? Former Peter Parker Could Play The Role Once Again!
It looks like Tobey Maguire is replacing Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker in the new Spider-Man film, if the reports and rumors are to be believed.
In the infamous "Sony hack" it was detailed that Andrew Garfield is reportedly out in the next Spider-Man film and that Tobey Maguire may return as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
It has also been reported that in the hacked e-mails of Sony Pictures, Marc Webb will no longer helm the third sequel and that Phil Lord and Chris Miller are being eyed to direct the Amazing Spider-Man 3.
Meanwhile, Comic Book has named other actors who have potential in possibly portraying Spider-Man in the next movie, should Tobey Maguire be not available for the filming.
Ansel Elgort's success in Divent and the Fault of Our Stars shows that he has a lot of potential to be the next Peter Parker. He also has a lot of fans who will watch him portray the hero, thus adding more revenue to the film.
Comic Book also mentioned Drake Bell, who is the voice of Peter Parker in "Ultimate Spider-Man", is a very good candidate to play the next Peter Parker in the next Spider-Man film.
