This week's episodes of Sensory Couple were just... Wow. In two episodes all my theories, guesses and expectations have been simultaneously proven and crushed and all I can do is sit here stunned while I try to process everything that's happened. Needless to say, we've got some things to talk about this week so let's get to it!

Picking up where we left off last week, Cho Rim was finally ready to acknowledge her feelings for Moo Gak and maybe even act on them but sadly, one ill-timed encounter with an unsuspecting Moo Gak put an end to that happy momentum. Watching Moo Gak and Lieutenant Yeom enjoy themselves over dinner, Cho Rim sulks back to her house to sulk over ramen and comedy shows but not for long. With dinner out of the way Moo Gak was quick to call Cho Rim out to practice for their skit and I have to say, there's just something about the way these two interact that makes me insanely happy. Moo Gak is such an odd duck when it comes to the way he interacts with people and even more so when he's interacting with Cho Rim. I'm not sure if this oddness stems from the fact he's lacking certain senses or if he really is just a bit odd but whatever the case may be, he's a hoot to watch, especially when he's with Cho Rim. I think the reason he's so adorable when he's with Cho Rim is because he's developing feelings for her but he doesn't know how to process them. As a man without senses, he's not used to feeling anything so the fact that he's beginning to feel something for Cho Rim means he going to have a hard time dealing with these feelings. How does a man who doesn't feel begin to feel? It's an interesting question and I love the way it's being dealt with in this story. It make for some very entertaining moments. Such as practicing a crazy skit in the middle of a restaurant and having the entire place think you're nuts. Oh geeze! I died watching that scene! I also died when I thought Moo Gak was really hugging Cho Rim and then we switched back to reality and I was just as disappointed as she was when I realized it was all just a dream. *sigh*

Even though we haven't gotten to the hugging stage just yet, we've got a lot of good stuff going between our OTP. They're both obviously interested in each other and they're beginning to show that in their concern for one another. When Cho Rim was being chased by a murderer, Moo Gak was there in an instant, ready to save the day. He was also quick to tell her to stop chasing criminals because it wasn't safe. Too bad Cho Rim doesn't listen! I'm afraid this criminal chasing habit is going to get Cho Rim into some serious trouble (even more serious than being chased by a weed growing murdered) and I'm not okay with that. Who knows what sort of trouble she's going to get herself into before she has her final run-in with the Barcode Killer. Though in the case of this serial killer, she could just stand still and she'd still find herself in trouble with this guy. Speaking of...

OH. MY. WORD. I knew something was up with Chef Kwon since the moment he first made his appearance and I suspected him of working with Dr. Chun as a serial killing team but NOPE! Turns out Dr. Chun is simply a convenient pawn in Chef Kwon's master game. Wow. I've gotta hand it to the writers, I didn't see this one coming and especially not this early! I thought the identity of the real killer would be kept secret for a while longer, in an effort to build more suspense but I was so wrong. Not only do we now know the real killer's identity, we also know Dr. Chun is innocent and also in mortal peril. I'm pretty sure Chef Kwon has the good doctor locked up in his basement and that has me worried. How long is Psycho Chef gonna keep this doctor around before kills him? Has the deed already been done? Killer Kwon has already labeled the next book in his gruesome collection. Does this mean there's no hope for the doctor? If he's already dead, is Chef Kwon going to keep the body around until it's time for him to dispose of it? I mean so far the Barcode Killer has killed on person a year so is he going to stick with this pattern or mix it up by revealing the body sooner? I hate to think that Dr. Chun is nothing more than a body at this point but there was a final date on that book Chef Kwon labeled. I kinda think this means we've heard the last we're ever going to hear from this doctor. Poor chap!

While we're on the subject, I do have to wonder about the letter Dr. Chun wrote to Cho Rim. I know it got mixed in with the books the doctor was having shipped off somewhere but which box were they in? Did these books go to Africa or did they go to Chef Kwon? If the letter went to Africa then Cho Rim is safe(ish) but if it ended up in that box of books the doctor had shipped to Jae Hee then Cho Rim is in serious trouble. We know it's not going to take long for Chef Kwon to act, once he realizes Cho Rim is the girl who got away three years ago. Ugh! The feeling of dread that settles in every time I think about how easily it will be for Chef Kwon to lure Cho Rim into his trap is overwhelming. This poor girl doesn't stand a chance unless something tips her off beforehand. She's already caught a glimpse of something fishy when she saw Joo Ma Ri's scent coming from that wine box but she never thought more about it because of the model's relationship with the chef. Cho Rim needs to catch a glimpse of the doctor's scent or something if she's ever going to put her guard up around Kwon Jae Hee.

With the identity of the Barcode Killer revealed and the mystery of the barcodes themselves solved, I have to wonder what's going to happen next. Obviously a search is going to begin for the missing doctor and that's going to lead somewhere but where? Will this search for the doctor lead to Jae Hee or will it send the police on a wild goose chase that will end in nothing? They police already assume the doctor is the killer, what are they going to do when they find out he's not? What's it going to take for them to realize their mistake? I hope they figure this out before the poor doctor ends up dead and Cho Rim becomes the next target but I'm not holding my breath on that one. The police have taken a liking to Chef Kwon now that they know he didn't kill that other chef and that can only spell trouble. Befriending the villain makes it that much harder for a detective to uncover the truth. It's a smart move on the part of Jae Hee but it leaves me feeling very uneasy. It makes me think Cho Rim in going to need some serious therapy by the time we reach the end of this drama. Poor girl's destined for trauma. Good thing she's got an adorable hero who will come to her rescue!

So tell me, what did you think of these two episodes? Were you shocked to find that Chef Kwon is the real killer? Do you hold out any hope for the doctor? Where do you think that letter Dr. Chun wrote to Cho Rim ended up? Do you think Cho Rim is safe or will she become the killer's next victim? How much more trouble do you see Cho Rim getting into before she actually listens to Moo Gak and stays away from criminals? You know I always love hearing from you so be sure to let me know your thoughts, ideas and theories by leaving them in the comments below!
