All About Claudia Kim + She Tied The Knot Already!

Claudia Kim who's also known as Kim Soo-Hyun was born in Seoul, South Korea. Most of her childhood was spent in the United States but eventually came back to South, Korea. When she was in middle school and high school she dreamed of becoming an international lawyer and a TV anchor. She finished her studies abroad. She was also an intern reporter for the Korea Times and the Arirang TV. Plus her love for music, films, and entertainment made her apply for the supermodel contest.

Claudia Kim debuted when she won the top prize in a Korean-Chinese modeling contest way back in 2005. She was the contestant that won despite the fact that she never worked as a model. Ever since then, she has been seen joining in German fashion shows. Afterward, Claudia pursued a career in acting.

Right after the modeling competitions, a producer named Oh Se-Kang saw her on a morning talk show told her that an international lawyer would be a suitable role for her. Taking this opportunity, she entered the entertainment industry way back November 2006 in the TV series titled "Queen of the Game." She played as Park Joo Won, a friend and companion of Lee shin-Jeon played by Joo Jin-Mo. Her role in this series was an international lawyer who falls in love with him. In this particular drama, she won an award for her acting ability. She was granted the New Star Award at the SBS Awards For Acting in the year 2006.

Claudia Kim also appeared in some supporting roles in "Brain" aired last 2011 a medical drama, also in a spy comedy titled "7th Grade civil servant" aired in the year 2013. Her leading role show was in the sitcom titled "Standby" in 2012. Not only making her name popular in her own country, but Claudia Kim also went international. She was seen in the movies "Marco Polo and the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in 2015. She also appeared in the famous international film "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" as Nagini this film was released last year.

On the day of the 14th of December, the famous actress tied the knot with Cha Min Geun also named Matthew Shampine a non-showbiz personality and a Korean-American who was a former manager from WeWork Korea. They shared with their I Do's at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, South Korea.

Claudia Kim's Agency released a statement regarding her big day stating the events that happened on the day. The agency said that the couple tied the knot on December 14 at around six in the evening at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul located in the neighborhood of Jangchung. The lovebirds exchanged their heartfelt wedding vows with warm blessings from their closest friends, family, and acquaintances.

The agency announced, "The actress Soo Hyun and her non-showbiz partner Cha Min Geun has gotten married! They promised to live with love, trust, and respect for the rest of their married life in front of all their guests.

We would like to ask for everyone's kind understanding as to why the ceremony was kept private. We would also like to thank everyone who has supported and continued to support Soo Hyun all these years. Please continue to send your love and support as she plans to come back to acting after the marriage.

The lovebirds announced their plans of getting married last October. They declared their relationship in the public last August.
