Kwak Si Yang And Lee Da In Confirmed To Join Kim Hee Sun And Joo Won’s New Drama “Alice”

It has been confirmed that Kwak Si Yang's next project is the new upcoming drama of SBS titled "Alice."

It is a science fiction drama. It is about a man and woman who are separated by death but conquered the limits of time and space to be together once again. Due to death, they become separated forever, but they meet again like magic.

Last month, both Kim Hee Sun and Joo Won confirmed that they will be playing the lead roles of the upcoming drama. And the MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo is also part of the cast.

It was announced before that Kwak Si Yang is rumored to be part of the drama but was not yet confirmed. Until the 19th of December, a source from the agency said that the young actor has chosen "Alice" as his new project and is already in the middle of filming the series. He will be playing the role of Yoo Min Hyuk, a first-class agent at the organization "Alice" who serves and protects the time travelers. Instead of making sound judgments about time travel, he does the work assigned to him without a word.

Actress Lee Da In also confirmed just last month that she will turn up in "Alice" playing the role of Kim Do Yeon. Kim Do Yeon is a local news reporter with a kind and warm personality who isn't afraid to defend and stand up for others.

Park Jin-Gyeom (Joo Won) on the other hand plays the role of a detective, who is emotionless and has a numb personality. While researching and investigating a mysterious case, he finds out the existence of time travelers.

Joo Won's last film was in the 2017 fusion sageuk My Sassy Girl, after that he had begun his mandatory military service. This will be his first drama since he was discharged in February this year.

The time travelers come to the present day traveling from the future through a space called "Alice". Park Jin-Gyeom is having a hard time to prevent negative or bad things happening through Alice. And in this time, he meets Yoon Tae-Yi (Kim Hee-Seon) again. She already died in the past. Park Jin-Gyeom thinks that their meeting is a fateful reunion.

Yoon Tae-Yi here is a genius physicist and she holds a key to time travel. While they discover the secret of time travel together, she realizes a secret behind her.

The drama"Alice" which blends science fiction with melodrama, will be directed by Baek Soo-chan, who previously worked on Into The World Again (2017).
