The Greatest Plot Holes That We Have Noticed In the Hit Drama "It's Okay Not To Be Okay"

"It's Okay Not To Be Okay" is a hit Netflix series that tells the story of Moon Gang-tae (Kim Soo-hyun), a caregiver working at the OK Psychiatric Hospital and Ko Mun-yeong (Seo Ye-ji), who is a children's storybook writer. On their journey to accept their past, they help one another in the process of healing emotionally, as well as mentally.

This drama is considered as one of the hottest series on Netflix aired this year. However, it's sad to say that the show has finally come to an end. Many viewers fell in love with it since it offered the audience a refreshing view on mental health issues through their captivating and acceptable characters.

We all agree tha the show's ending made us a tad bit happy. But, we do have some questions that needed to be answered to make us fully satisfied. We have noticed some plot holes since the beginning of the series. Here are some of it below!

Warning! If you haven't watched the drama yet, there may be some spoilers below, so please look away.

First plot hole we have noticed is, how did Gang-tae and Mun-yeong avoid the police during their high-speed highway chase?

The son of the mayoral candidate in Seongjin City named Kwon Gi-do was able to escape from the OK Psychiatric Hospital to enjoy and have some fun (while naked). He then ran into Mun-Yeong, and they went for a ride away from the hospital but was eventually cornered by Gang-tae. This resulted into a high-speed chase on the highway until they have reached the campaign rally of Gi-do's dad.

Now the question is, where were the police officers during the chase? And why didn't they pay attention to Gi-do's screaming?

If Jae-su, Sang-tae and the mother of Ju-ri were all at home, then why did they not hear the loud sound of the motorcycle?

When Gang-tae brought Mun-yeong to his place after their memorable scene in the rain and somehow a humorous turn of events in a motel, they reached the house with Jae-su's motorcycle (with a loud sound) and sneaked secretly to the brothers' rooftop room.

In this plot hole, the big question is how did no one in the household know that he got home? Even in a heavy rain shower, we bet one can hear a motorcycle's engine turning up, right?

Every place of OK Psychiatric Hospital had security cameras installed, how did none of the staff ever noticed A-reum and Jeong-tae's relationship?

OK Psychiatric Hospital in-house patients A-reum and Jeong-tae kept their relationship from everyone, well, except for their fellow patients whom they trust the most due to the hospital's strict dating rules among patients. Because of this rule, they are forbidden to date in the hospital and mainly hideout in the linen room when they wanted to see each other privately.

The question remains, since the hospital is full of security cameras, how come their relationship was not exposed? Since there is also a nurse in the front desk manning the security cameras?

Is nurse Park Haeng-ja really Do Hui-jae? Or is she just a fan of her books?

The whole plot revelation that nurse Park Haeng-ja was was, in reality, Mun-yeong's mother, Do Hui-jae. And it was just too much to swallow at first. But it also opened our minds to more questions. Even though plastic surgery had transformed her appearance to someone unrecognizable, it is still quite impossible that she would have been able to change her ways of conversing entirely, her mannerisms, and modify her bodily appearance that drastically.

Is it possible that she was only a fan of Hui-jae's books, and eventually decided to live those stories out its reality?
