KBS’s Drama “To All The Guys Who Loved Me” Took A Break From Filming Due To One Cast Being COVID Positive

The Monday-Tuesday drama of KBS network titled "To All the Guys Who Loved Me" was forced to take a break from filming after one of their casts, unfortunately, tested positive for COVID 19.

Just today, August 19, according to the reports released from Osen, actor Seo Sung Jong had tested positive for the COVID 19. The statements emphasized that the actor began to experience the symptoms on Sunday (August 16), and he immediately got tested on Tuesday (August 18). Then his results came back just today, August 19, confirming that he was affected by the COVID-19.

One source from the drama acknowledged the news that their actor Seo Sung Jong had tested positive for COVID-19. They expressed that Seo Sung Jong was able to come on set to film his scenes on August 14th, and just today, we have received the news that he had tested positive for the virus. So the productions had to halt filming for the said drama and to those people who came into close contact with Seo Sung Jong have been required to do self-quarantine and get tested as well. According to the source, he only partook in the shooting once, and the drama's lead stars such as Hwang Jung-eum were not present there. And currently, the filming of the show has all been stopped.

The "To All The Guys Who Loved Me" production management claimed that they are still waiting for the test results for the rest of the cast and crew who got tested. The drama has just two remaining episodes left to air. When they were asked if this will have an impact on the airing schedule of the show, the source responded that, as of the moment, they are not on the stage to discuss such matters yet, and they will release an official statement once the details have been finalized.

Nevertheless, since the series was scheduled to end next Tuesday, it means that the filming was nearing its conclusion, and the last remaining episodes are more likely to broadcast according to the schedule hopefully.
