DEX In Talks For His First Ever K-drama Lead Role
From being a former UDT soldier to host, DEX is set for a new career in 2024 after being offered to headline the web series "Tarot."
According to a media outlet, the former reality star was selected to play the lead role in the upcoming K-drama.
DEX to Play the Lead Role in 'Tarot'
Dex's agency, Kick the Huddle Studio, confirmed that the 28-year-old celebrity received an offer to play the main character of the original series.
In addition, the talent label said that he is "very positively considering the lead role in the drama 'Tarot.'"
As mentioned by the outlet, the lead role is for the U+Mobile TV original series "Tarot."
It is an upcoming thriller drama that depicts the story of the seven main characters, who each receive different tarot cards.

Furthermore, "Tarot" also focuses on the seven mystery thrillers that revolve around the mysterious tarot cards.
If DEX officially accepts the offer, this will be among his projects in 2024.

Best known for his stint in "Single's Inferno" season 2, DEX, whose real name is Kim Jin Young, is among the most popular participants on the reality dating show's second season.
From being a former ROK NAVY UDT/SEAL member to a YouTuber, he is now appearing in various TV shows like "Yoo Quiz on the Block" and as the main hosts of "Bloody Game Season 2," "Adventure by Accident Season 2," and "Smiling Boss."
In addition, he was also the newest panelist in "Single's Inferno" season 3 alongside Hong Jin Kyung, Lee Da Hee, Jung Han Hae, and Cho Kyu Hyun.
Moreover, DEX will also appear as the main host in "The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3" with Yoo Jae Suk and Kwon Yu Ri, which will air sometime in 2024.
Other than TV shows, he is also booked and busy as an actor.
Besides the upcoming web series, he is currently filming the webtoon-based K-drama "i Shopping."
DEX joins the action thriller drama along with Yum Jung Ah and Won Jin Ah.
He takes on the role of Tae Shik, the close friend of Park Se Hee, played by Yun Jung Ah.
Helmed by "Fashion King" director Oh Ki Hwan, the upcoming series is set to be one of the new K-dramas airing in 2024.
DEX's Agency Warns Legal Actions Against Malicious Commenters
The former reality star is among the celebrities who were victimized by false rumors due to his involvement with the controversy surrounding "Made in Abyss."
In November 2023, DEX's agency released a warning to malicious commenters, notifying them of the possible legal actions.
Kick The Huddle Studio released an official statement saying that they are "taking strong action against cases of slander, false information, sexual harassment, personal attacks, defamation, and malicious comments related to our creator Kim Jin Young," also known as DEX.
