Park Ha Sun opened up about her health struggles and how the public's opinion played a big part in them.

During her guest appearance on Uhm Ji Won's YouTube channel, "The Veil" star dished on what she went through amid the controversy.

Since 2022, the actress has been dealing with malicious comments online. At the time, her agency announced that they "will strongly take all possible legal actions against serious defamation acts" that will affect Park Ha Sun's image and reputation as an actress.

According to reports, she has been the target of personal attacks, which include spreading false information and abusive language.

Furthermore, Park Ha Sun confirmed on her Instagram account that "malicious commenters would be fined."

"Severe malicious comments, posts, and Instagram and YouTube content normally take more than a year to sue because identifying them is not easy, or the cases may end without updates even after completing payments."

She added that her legal counsel has been looking into this for 3 years.

Now, two years later, the actress shared her experience during these unpleasant time.

Park Ha Sun Details Health Struggles Due to Online Hate

In an interview with Uhm Ji Won, Park Ha Sun talked about her health struggles that got worse amid the issue.

"I got sick in the past because of being criticized, but there were also negative comments about the article saying that I was taken away because I was sick."

The actress added that she suffered from pneumonia and was hospitalized for it. She admitted that she was "smoking a lot" at the time, mainly to relieve stress.

However, this also served as her wake up call to prioritize her health.

"After that, I started paying less attention to malicious comments."

Park Ha Sun also revealed that she is "working hard to file a complaint," especially since she has kids to protect.

"Because children may see malicious comments, I have to correct harsh, malicious comments that sexually harass and harm my family."

Best known for her role in "High Kick," Park Ha Sun married "Two Weeks" co-star Ryu Soo Young on January 22, 2017 after 3 years of dating.

In the same year, she gave birth to her first child, a baby girl, in August 2017.

Park Ha Sun Returns With New K-Drama

After the hit series with Namgoong Min, Park Ha Sun stars in the thriller mystery series "Tarot" with Cho Yeo Jung and the "Single's Inferno" alum DEX.

In addition to this, she also joins the highly anticipated Netflix K-drama "Queen of the Scene" with Gong Hyo Jin.
