'Connection' Episode 7: Ji Sung, Jeon Mi Do Discover More Hidden Truth About Yoon Na Moo's Death

In "Connection" Episode 7, Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do found more clues about the mysterious murder case of their friend. However, they got caught in conflicting truths and experienced unexpected incidents.

The SBS action-crime series depicts the story of narcotics detective Jang Jae Kyung, who is known in the police force as one of the top-notch officers.

Following his promotion as the new chief, Jae Kyung faced a career setback that might put his position in danger.

Unfortunately, a mysterious person transformed him into a drug addict. This is where he gets reunited with his former high school classmate, Oh Yoon Jin (Jeon Mi Do), a reporter.

'Connection' Episode 7 Rating: Thriller Drama Maintains Viewership

Entering the season's second half, "Connection" Episode 7 has maintained its standing in viewership.

In a report, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 9.4 percent, the same digit from its previous episode.

'Connection' Episode 7: Jang Jae Hyuk, Oh Yoon Jin Enter New Phase in Their Team-Up

As they dug into the case of Park Jun Seo, Jang Jae Hyuk and Oh Yoon Jin experienced a few bumps on the road while in pursuit of their mission.

Jae Hyuk found more clues after investigating the death of the store owner and discovering its connection with his friend, Jun Seo.

Meanwhile, Jang Jae Hyuk's junior colleague knew about his drug addiction. The chief detective only discovered it after he was victimized again by a group of syndicates who injected a liquid drug into him.

As for Jae Hyuk's colleague, detective Kim Chang Soo, he chose not to disclose the status of his senior because he believed that he had reasons behind it.

One of the significant scenes in "Connection" Episode 7 is the kidnapping of Oh Yoon Jin. It was after she looked into the medical malpractice case related to Park Bork Rye, an elderly man who died due to the mysterious drug.

Oh Chi Hyeon, the right hand man of KH Group's vice president, Won Jong Soo, dragged her out to the center and forcibly brought her to the office.

Oh Yoon Jin threatened him that she would file a kidnapping case, but Oh Chi Hyeon ended up bribing the reporter with the condition that she would stop digging into the incident.

As for Chi Hyeon, he threatened her with the paparazzi photo that he got where Yoon Jin was spotted taking money from individuals.

Leaving her with no choice, Oh Yoon Jin took the money. However, instead of keeping it to herself, she returned the money and insisted that she would continue to work on the case.

On the other hand, things got out of hand for Jang Jae Hyuk. The chief detective met former classmate Jung Sang Eui, who also worked with KH Pharmaceutical Company. He revealed the day when they saw Park Jun Seo's dead body.

According to him, he was with vice president Won Jong Soo, prosecutor Park Tae Jin, and Oh Chi Hyeon at the time. They also received a message from Jun Seo to meet him in the area.

However, they all heard a loud bang and saw Jun Seo's lifeless body.
