However, he had to stay for a few more months, even after the production ended.

"After filming overseas and living in a hotel for a year, I developed allergies and rashes, so I took dermatological medication for a year."

Another thing that he enjoyed while outside of South Korea was watching different kinds of mukbang on YouTube.

"I mainly watch meat. I don't care about beef or pork," he said, making the audience laugh.

"I didn't know I'd be watching a mukbang show until dawn. Before I know it, it's 3 a.m. and I have to wake up at 6 a.m. to go film, but I just keep watching the mukbang while lying on my side in bed."

Other than finding ways to entertain himself despite living thousands of miles away from his homeland, Lee Jung Jae also shared that he continued studying English and worked on his pronunciation.

The actor shared that he has four American acting coaches who make sure he gets better in communicating in English.

"As I continued to practice pronunciation correction, paused reading, flow, etc., both sides of my tongue were worn out, and it was so difficult to eat," he joked, adding, "Even if I sleep, I have to mutter when I wake up."
