Song Joong Ki is now going to be a dad of two!
After welcoming fatherhood in 2023, the South Korean top star and wife, Katy Louise Saunders, are expecting their second baby.
In an exclusive report cited by News1, the only people who knew about the pregnancy were the couple's close friends and family members.
Furthermore, Song Joong Ki's wife is reportedly focusing on prenatal care for the upcoming bundle of joy.

Following the news regarding Katy Louise Saunders's pregnancy, Song Joong Ki's agency, High Zium Studio, released a statement confirming the surprising news.

"Song Joong Ki will become a father to two children. The expected date of birth is part of his private life, so it will be difficult to comment on," the talent label said, as mentioned by media outlet Maeil Kyungje.

It can be recalled that Song Joong Ki surprised fans when the actor confirmed that he was off the market.
The announcement was made by his agency, confirming that he is "currently seeing a woman with positive feelings."
Interestingly, welcoming 2023 with a bang, the "Descendants of the Sun" star once again surprised the public when he announced on his fan cafe about his wedding plans and Katy Louise Saunders' pregnancy.

Describing her as someone who is "admirably wise and a wonderful person," Song Joong Ki dropped the bombshell news and wrote:
"Today we just came back from registering our marriage to start our life as a couple based on deep trust and love. I vowed to do life together with Katy Louise Saunders, who has been spending precious time with me by supporting and caring for me."
In the same year, Song Joong Ki and his wife became proud parents after they welcomed their first child in June 2023.

On his fan cafe, the top star revealed the exciting news and shared that Katy has given birth to a son, whom he described as their "most precious gift."
At the time, the family spent a few months in Katy's hometown of Rome, Italy, with her mother.
