Son Ye Jin Says She Married Hyun Bin Because of THIS Quality: ‘I Fell in Love With Him Because…’

Son Ye Jin opened up about her marriage as she briefly mentioned Hyun Bin's name during her first official public appearance at the 28th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. 

One of the activities during the BIFAN was the Mega Talk, where the actress got to interact and communicate with the audience. 

Other than being honored for her impeccable filmography, Son Ye Jin also shares glimpses of her life as a mother and a wife. 

Son Ye Jin on Motherhood

Son Ye Jin has been in the industry for 20 years and has enjoyed every part of being an actress. 

However, as she takes on a new role now that she is a wife and a mother, she happily closes Chapter 1 of her life.

While making happy memories in Chapter 2, Son Ye Jin says her daily life has completely changed since marriage and childbirth. 

According to her, a lot has happened to her personally over the past two years, especially how motherhood has fulfilled her. 

Showcasing her honest feelings about being a mom of 1, she said that she is happy as long as her child eats well and is healthy. 

To recall, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin became proud parents after welcoming their firstborn on November 27, 2022. 

Son Ye Jin Reveals What Made Him Fall in Love With Hyun Bin

During BIFAN's Mega Talk, Son Ye Jin opened up about her marriage to Hyun Bin. 

It was after an audience member asked the actress about the moment when she realized that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with the actor. 

Calling it a "refreshing question," Son Ye Jin happily talked about the moment when she knew Hyun Bin was the one. 

Suggesting that it was a "destiny," the "Thirty-Nine" star mentioned their similarities, from physical appearance to having the same personalities. 

"People kept saying we looked alike. I thought, 'I've never thought I looked like that person,' but since they kept saying we looked alike, I thought maybe we had similar feelings." 

Furthermore, Son Ye Jin also mentioned working with Hyun Bin on two projects. The first was for the movie "The Negotiation," followed by their first K-drama, "Crash Landing on You."

"We worked on two projects together, and I really liked him on a personal level. How should I put it? He had a very scholar-like appearance if you compare him to people from the past." 

Talking more about her husband, the South Korean actress described Hyun Bin as someone who is "very upright and rational."

Revealing how simple yet straightforward her husband is on a physical level, Son Ye Jin also added, "He wasn't the type of person to try to show off himself by packaging or embellishing unpleasant things. 

Another factor that made her fall in love with Hyun Bin was his visuals and 

"Those aspects were really big. He was trustworthy," the actress added.
