‘My Sweet Mobster’ Episode 8: Uhm Tae Goo Starts to Distance Himself From Han Sun Hwa

In "My Sweet Mobster" episode 8, Seo Ji Hwan (Uhm Tae Goo) is on a dangerous mission and decides to distance himself from Go Eun Ha (Han Sun Hwa) to keep her safe.

'My Sweet Mobster' Episode 8: Seo Ji Hwan Saves Yoon Taek From Go Yang Hee's Gang

The episode started with Seo Ji Hwan handing the time capsule to Go Eun Ha. However, he did not reveal his identity to her. Eun Ha was happy to see the items inside the time capsule, especially the letter she wrote to her childhood companion Hyun Woo.

The scene shifted revealing Ji Hwan's past where he was in the hotel. He did not commit any crime. The Cat Company members and their boss Go Yang Hee, were the people behind the chaos at the hotel.

He was severely injured and was brutally stabbed. Thus when Jang Hyun Woo saw him, he misunderstood the situation and thought Ji Hwan was a bad person.

Elsewhere, Go Yang Hee prepared to make a massive drug deal. The police, along with prosecutor Jang Hyun Woo, get information on the deal.

Later on, Go Eun Ha and the Thirsty Deer members found out that Ji Hwan was left alone to look for Jung Yoon Taek. He has been trying to save this missing employee and make him reunite with his sister for a long time.

Seo Ji Hwan found that Yoon Taek's life was in danger. Go Yang Hee will use him as a hostage in the drug deal. Ji Hwan knew how dangerous the situation would be. He did not inform any of his members about his plan and rescued Yoon Taek alone.

In the process, Ji Hwan succeeded in saving Yoon Taek but he was attacked by Go Yang Hee's men. They almost killed him but the police arrived and were able to save him. Meanwhile, Go Eun Ha directed the members to place and see Ji Hwan in the worst condition. She also witnessed him getting arrested by the police.

Did Jang Hyun Woo Reveal Seo Ji Hwan's Identity to Go Eun Ha?

Jang Hyun Woo (Kwon Yuk) who was present at the spot, interrogated Seo Ji Hwan. Later on, he was released from police custody. After returning home, Seo Ji Hwan started to distance himself from Eun Ha as he believed that their closeness could cause her harm.

He behaved rudely to her to keep her safe. However, it made Go Eun Ha upset.

Meanwhile, Go Eun Ha went to meet Jang Hyun Woo with the time capsule. She believed that he was her childhood companion. During their meetup, the prosecutor explained something.

However, what he said to her was not revealed in the episode, giving a huge cliffhanger to the viewers. Before the episode concluded, Eun Ha met Ji Hwan and said that she finally found the man she'd been looking for. She thanked him for everything and told him that they should not see each other again.
