Jung Hoyeon, Hyeri Open up About Friendship & Fun on ‘Hyell’s Club’: ‘We Also Have a Group Chat With Jisoo'

Model-turned-actress Jung Hoyeon and Hyeri from K-pop group Girl's Day shared insights into their close bond on the latest episode of "Hyell's Club."

Aired on July 5, the episode featured Jung Hoyeon as a guest, revealing the duo's genuine camaraderie and lively interactions.

During the show, Jung Hoyeon humorously reminisced about their initial meeting backstage at an event.

"It feels so awkward because I'm used to seeing you in sweatpants at your place, but now we're both dressed up and having a beer,"

She expressed her surprise at Hyeri's warm greeting despite her initial apprehensions.

 "At that time, Hyeri's character 'Deok-sun' was hugely popular, so I felt a strong sense of familiarity with her. In my heart, I was already her friend. We're the same age, and it turned out we had similar concerns, so we got along well. I came on your show without thinking much at all,"

Their friendship blossomed from this encounter, fueled by shared interests and similar life experiences.

Hyeri chimed in, sharing anecdotes from their group chat with BLACKPINK's JISOO, humorously named 'Pilates,' owing to their shared attendance at the same Pilates class.

"We actually have a group chat with BLACKPINK's JISOO called 'Pilates,' since we all attend the same Pilates class. Today, Hoyeon randomly asked JISOO, 'What are you doing today? Want to hang out later?' But JISOO was like, 'I'm in Japan right now.' So we said, 'Next time then.' Wouldn't it be hilarious if she just showed up now?"
