A few days ago, celebrities in South Korea attended a parent-teacher conference of their children in an international school.

News N reported that popular actresses Jeon Ji-Hyun, Kim Nam Joo, and Eugene, as well as some non-entertainment figures, have participated in this conference.

The institution is renowned for its exceptional educational system, although its notoriety is associated with high tuition fees.

The total tuition from kindergarten up to high school can cost someone an estimate of 600 million won ($500,000). The yearly tuition fees are estimated at 34 million won for kindergarten and elementary education, 37 million won for middle school, while high school's tuition stands at 40 million won.

The school's tuition fees are occasionally affected by fluctuations in the exchange rate between the Korean won and the US dollar.

Jeon Ji-hyun's child attends the elementary school and joined the institution at the beginning of 2021.

Kim Nam-joo and Kim Seung-woo's daughter is enrolled at the sister establishment of the Korean school, specifically at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, where she is an intermediate student.

Ra-hee is also in the same age group as the school and university students, and she has been studying there independently. Eugene and Ki Tae-yang's daughter is attending the American school and is known for her exceptional intelligence, surpassing her peers in IQ.

She is proficient in multiple languages in addition to her native language. The school was established in September 2010 as a branch of an institution in California, offering both international and local study programs.

In addition to a curriculum that combines local and foreign structures, the well-equipped campus includes large theaters, gymnasiums, and swimming pools.

Basically, 2,000 students are enrolled in these two institutions. Despite the high tuition fees, gaining admission to these institutions is quite challenging due to the intense competition, with an estimated 100 applicants vying for each available spot.

It's worth noting that these institutions are located just 30 kilometers away from Seoul, making it convenient for students to stay close to their families without having to relocate to another country.
