29th Busan International Film Festival: Actresses Arrive at the Chanel Red Carpet with Mixed Reactions from Critics

Actresses Park Bo Young, Kim Hee Ae, Claudia Kim, and Kim Min Ha were the latest stars to walk the red carpet for the 29th Busan International Film Festival in Busan, South Korea, yesterday. They showed up for the Chanel event wearing gorgeous Chanel evening gowns and jewelry. Photos from the event were uploaded online today.

'Korea Dispatch' shared the stunning celebrity photos on Instagram.

29th Busan Film Festival runs until October 11.

On day one, the Netflix film 'Uprising' was screened at the festival. Stars Kang Dong Won, Park Jung Min, and more were in attendance. TWICE's Dahyun was honored with a Rising Star Award at the Marie Claire Asia Star Awards 2024 yesterday.

Park Bo Young is always striving to be the best actress she can be. 

"My acting needs to improve, but there are times when it seems like it's at the same place. It was hard whenever I felt that way. If my acting doesn't improve, I'm going to go to the countryside and farm," she said in a 2018 interview, according to a 'Soompi' report.

She added, "I recently tried farming in the countryside. Even if I wear rainboots and walk around, the grandpas just say, 'Oh, it's that family's kid.' It's so comfortable when I go there. It's nice to mix rice with red pepper paste and freshly picked aralia sprouts. But I don't feel rushed. I think there will be more things I can do after I turn 30." 

Kim Hee Ae is attracted to the right script but wants to continue to branch out as an actress.

"It's not that I purposely choose works with political themes or strong-willed characters. I can also play relaxed and passive characters who are completely different from the roles I've portrayed so far," said Kim Hee Ae in an interview with 'The Korean Herald' in July.

She went on to say, "It seems directors have forgotten that I can do relaxed, routine acting well. I want to show them I can do that well."
