While the series is unfolding, the question on the viewer's mind is likely to be, "Which character is Satan?" Multiple fan theories have already been created, and here, the most intriguing speculations, as per Reddit r/KDRAMA will be explored.

The Assemblyman Jeong Theory

Perhaps the most popular theory suggests that Assemblyman Jeong is Satan. Fans note the character's strange, overbearing interest in Galaxy's Kang Bit Na and his protective instinct to not let her out of his sight.

One fan on Reddit suggested, "Assemblyman Jeong is strangely too concerned for Kang Bit Na's whereabouts... he might be suspecting that something that might be supernatural has occurred".

This theory is likely to point out the character's true nature and that all the things happening at the moment are supervised by his hands.

The Klyum Stone

Another theory suggests that the second son of Assemblyman Jeong possesses the Klyum stone, which makes a person immortal. The character is speculated to be engaged in a "series of murders related to Han Da On's parents' past".

One user suggested, "I think he is the serial killer that killed Da On's parents 26 years ago." The Klyum Stone is explained in supernatural forums as the stone that gives a person life forever, and thus, the unordinary thing could be related to the devil.

Kang Bit Na's ex-fiance

Perhaps the ex-fiance of Kang Bit Na is Satan. Fans might need to pay more attention to his presence in her life, especially with regard to the circumstances under which she died.

A Redditor mentions, "I'm curious about Bitna's ex-fiance... is he jealous bc his dad likes Bitna???." Perhaps there is a chain of histories between the leading characters, and their tensions will become more explicit with the flow of the story.

Ah Rong

As for Ah Rong, some fans believe that she is Satan or one of his enforcers. However, there is also a group of users who suggest that she is one of Satan's adversaries.

For instance, one user states, "I feel like Ah Rong's going to kill Bitna soon or either Bitna's secretary." In any case, it is evident that she has her own agenda, and her ties to the prominent demon-like figure from the show might be compelling.

The demon: themes of demons and humanity

The story of Bitna represents one of the show's themes, which is the transformation of the demons into some humans due to their interactions. However, the definition of what it is to be 'evil' remains unclear to the fans.

One user claims quite rightly, "the more time demons spend on earth, the more humanized they become." The use of such an imprecise measure as normal people's emotions to decide whether a character is Satan makes it difficult for the audience to tell which of the personalities will turn out to be the horrific figure.

Visual foreshadowing

A clear case of using visual symbolism to reveal deeper truths is when we witness Justitia's dagger crushing the Klyum stone at the beginning of the series. It does strongly suggest future confrontations related to powerful artifacts, as one user have already indicated: "In the intro, we see blood of sinners dripping down to the Klyum," which could indicate the possible conditions for its power.

Thus, it allows noticing a lot of other things to look closer to every scene from the show and maybe see a hint regarding someone's character or motivation. As "The Judge from Hell" unfolds, fans are left speculating about who Satan really is and how various characters fit into this complex web of relationships.
