'Love Next Door' Recap Episode 16: A Wedding is Postponed and a Job Assignment Overseas is Revealed

Episode 16 starts with a harmonious environment between the main couples' parents of breakfast. Yoon Ji On learns about Kim Ji Eun's job in Antarctica indirectly but keeps the information to himself. Jung Hae In and Jung So Min go to an amusement park on their first official date. News about the main couple's engagement is shared with family friends, and the wedding planning begins. Of course, the mothers start disagreeing on wedding details.

Jung So Min and Kim Ji Eun meet up, and the latter acknowledges that she has no idea how to tell Yoon Ji On about her job in Antarctica. She is advised to be honest with him. English and cooking lessons are exchanged between the main couple's mothers while drinking and a photography lesson happens between the fathers.

Kim Ji Eun and Yoon Ji On exchange gifts. She gives him his little girl T-shirts while he gives her clothes for her trip to Antarctica. He supports her new job assignment, and the little girl is excited to see her photos of emperor penguins.

Jung So Min's online channel starts growing in popularity with positive feedback. During one of Jung So Min and Jung Hae In's neighborhood walks, they see her wild restaurant is newly renovated. He tells her that he fixed up the place for her at the request of her father. The restaurant now belongs to Jung So Min, and she's overcome with emotion. 

Jung So Min's brother prepares to take his certification exam. A close friend cheers him on. A farewell party is thrown for Kim Ji Eun, and she leaves for her new job assignment. 

Kim So Min names her new restaurant "Rainbow Kitchen" and asks her father to be an advisor around the grand opening. She creates a special app for her restaurant. In the midst of trying on wedding attire, Jung So Min is forced to postpone her wedding for a year due to her extensive workload. 

Jung So Min's mom plans a wedding, and the main couple shares a kiss there. 

Fast-forward a few months; Jung Hae In is chosen as Seoul's public architect, and Jung So Min wins an award six months after opening her restaurant. Yoon Ji On's little girl wants to work for NASA and even wins a competition in kindergarten. Jung So Min's brother comes certified as a personal trainer, and his close friend becomes his first client.

The main couple's fathers have become best friends, and they play sports together. Kim Ji Eun contacts her family while overseas, and Yoon Ji On is planning a trip to visit her and write a story.

Jung Hae In's company is successful. The main couple is joking around about their new home, and they end the series holding hands and walking together.
