Google Nexus 6 Motorola release date is allegedly set for release during the last quarter of this year. According to Christian Post, this most talked about device is rumored to be called Nexus X. Same report noted that speculations suggest Nexus 6/X will possibly look similar to the new Moto X which has a 5.2-inch screen display featuring the latest QHD screen that would boast a 2, 560 x 1, 400 pixel resolutions.

Reported evidences suggested that this smartphone is likely collaboration from Google and the Motorola factory. This Google's next flagship smartphone, made by Motorola is under the codename Motorola Shamu named after a killer whale. Epoch Times noted that Google names its Nexus line with the "sea animal code names." Previously, Nexus 5 was code named Hammerhead.

Reportedly, the display size and resolution for Nexus 6/X is a boost from previous models and is a response to the LG G3's QHD display move. According to reports, this project came about after Lenovo agreed to buy Motorola in January 2014 that paved a way for Google's Android unit to collaborate with Motorola for the new phone.

Previous reports noted that this new smart device is going to make a jump to the 64-bit chipset powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core 2.7GHz Krait 450 processor with an Adreno 420 GPU. There's going to be only a 32GB variant so far and has 3GB of RAM.

The Epoch Times stated that the Nexus 6 could be unveiled at a secret Google launch event on or around the Halloween period in 2014. The alleged timing of the Nexus 6 release puts it right in line with the launch of Google's upcoming mobile OS, the Android L which according to Christian Post will be released sometime this fall.

According to Christian Post, this new gadget will cost $550 based on early estimates.
