According to the official synopsis of "Whack-A-Mole," Episode 5 of Season 6, "The FBI knows that the Panthers are going after the Federal Reserve - specifically, a shipment of international funds that can contain up to $500 million. But there's trouble afoot, as Woodford has discovered that there's a mole in the operation. Surprisingly, he doesn't suspect Neal, but rather tasks him with revealing their identity. Peter needs to convince Luc to pull Keller or risk the Panthers going underground again. And when the Panthers decide to use firepower on the Federal Reserve job, it's up to Neal to convince them he has a better plan."

What happened on "White Collar" last week?
On "All's Fair," last Thursday's episode, "In the last episode, the FBI team finally zeroed in on the Pink Panthers' latest task. They found out that the gang wanted to get hold of the algorithm from the high-tech security company to go after the Federal Reserve, "specifically, a shipment of international funds that can contain up to $500 million." Peter alerted the Los Angeles FBI office but it looks like someone inside the FBI tipped off the Pink Panthers about it, as they did not turn up, as was expected, to carry out the robbery," according to the International Business Times.

Carter Matt explains, "All of the pressure is going to be on Neal Caffrey has he tries to work with the Pink Panthers on something that will push him to the limit ... even more than everything has with this group already. What we have learned about them is that they are extremely cutthroat, and will do just about anything that they can to convince Matt Bomer's character to show his loyalty. We love the title for this episode in "Whack-A-Mole," mostly because of the juxtaposition between something so frivolous and childish to the serious nature of what Neal is in the middle of. If he makes just one wrong move, all of this effort could be for naught. With that in mind, it's certainly a good thing that he is well-versed in such matters of survival, right?"
