The latest NBA trade rumors involved Channing Frye who is supposedly on the move and Cleveland Cavaliers can finally move on from Tristan Thompson by signing the sweet-shooting big man.
According to Zach Lowe in a piece for Grantland, Tristan Thompson and the Cleveland Cavaliers are still on an impasse even as the rebounding forward was involved in NBA trade rumors this 2015.
But the Cavaliers have plenty of elbow room if indeed Tristan Thompson will leave because of the $10.5 million trade exception from Brendan Haywood.
"That's enough to start talks for someone like Davis once he becomes trade-eligible on December 15, or even Markieff Morris if he pipes up again," he wrote. "Sources around the league say Channing Frye is available now for very little, though Magic officials deny it. Other names will hit the market, but while the salary of someone like Kenneth Faried doesn't quite fit the exception, how much would Denver really demand to dump J.J. Hickson into it?"
Meanwhile, Sacramento Kings coach George Karl is reportedly on the chopping block after he was linked to several NBA trade rumors this 2015 involving firebrand center DeMarcus Cousins.
The former Denver Nuggets coach signed a $14.5 million deal with the Kings in February and back then, he was all praises for DeMarcus Cousins but then their relationship soured for unknown reasons.
Pretty soon, the 6-11 center's name got involved in multiple NBA trade rumors.
The tiff got quite bad that Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive had thought about firing George Karl.
"No firing is imminent, but in discussions with members of the Kings' basketball department, Ranadive has broached the subject of whether the team should get rid of Karl," it said.
Watch out for more NBA trade rumors this 2015 which will be published in this corner when they become available.
