The Walking Dead Season 6 is a gritty drama portraying life in the weeks and months following after a zombie apocalypse. Based on the comic book series by Rober Kirkman, the new The Walking Dead Season 6 "The First Time Again" is back, only with more zombies on screen.
The premier show was all about flashbacks into Season 5 and reintroduction of the characters the story line of the series, said iO9.com. Season 6 seems to be set no more than a week after Season 5's finale.
Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln and his family along with a group of other survivors are constantly in search of a safe and secure hideout for themselves. However, each passing day the need for survival sends many in the group to the deepest depth of human cruelty. Rick soon realizes that the fear of those alive and their survival instincts can be more deadly than the zombie walking among them, said Yahoo! Entertainment.
It is one of the most elite and top-tier series and isn't like many others on the television. It lacks Emmy prestige and is a genre series only targeted towards thrill seeking viewers, said CNN.
The 90-minute premiere is called "First Time Again." The viewers were introduced to the zombies almost immediately at the start of the premier show which turned out to be the most exciting portion of the episode right away. Alexandria had remained relatively safe from zombie attacks thanks to a massive stone quarry.
Whoever had worked in the quarry earlier had left the trucks angled which had blocked the exits. Zombies would tumble in the huge pit but manage to slip through the cracks and escape. When a part of the cliff eroded away under the weight of one of the big rigs, it led to the start of the new season for the viewers. The lead of the season, Rick, decided that it was time to act again, said ComingSoon.net.
