The split rumor between Pippa Middleton and Nico Jackson has been confirmed by E! News, although Kate Middleton's sister appears to be unaffected by the breakup.
The entertainment news site allegedly talked to a source who claimed that their troubles began when Nico Jackson took a job in Geneva
"Long-distance didn't work, especially with how busy Pippa was," the article said. "A lot of their problems stemmed from the fact she was always busy working-as was he-and they never had time for one another."
Last month, Pippa Middleton was snapped on a lunch date with her ex, Alex Loudon, in Fulham.
The two dated for about three years before breaking up in 2011. Soon after, Pippa Middleton and Nico Jackson started dating.
But two weeks prior to that lunch date, People published a photo of Nico Jackson and Pippa Middleton looking very much in love, which put aside the breakup rumors.
"While royal watchers argue that the two made a good couple, our source believes that Pippa isn't ready to settle down," said E! News. "Instead, the 32-year-old is focusing on her career that includes retraining to be a nutritionist."
A week ago, Pippa Middleton was seen with ex-boyfriend James Matthews in West London. He is the brother of Spencer Matthews of the reality show, "Made in Chelsea."
The source called Kate Middleton's sister as "fiercely ambitious," which probably led to the breakup as she's not about to forego her career in favor of marriage life.
An article from Daily Mail also confirmed the breakup report involving Pippa Middleton and Nico Jackson.
The alleged source of the British tabloid claimed, "Pippa and Nico have parted ways. No third parties were involved."
"There was speculation that the couple would become engaged, but Mr Jackson's move to Geneva from London last year is believed to have placed strain on the relationship," it added.
