Jared Leto made news as he attended New York Comic-Con in a disguise.

Posting a photo on Instagram, Jared Leto revealed that he went to the event in a creepy costume as Rafiki from The Lion King.

"#NYCC they had no idea :)," The "Suicide Squad" actor captioned the photo.

It gets even better. Jared Leto reportedly posed with Joker fans without them knowing who was under the Rafiki costume.

"The best part of this revelation is that Leto took a picture with a fan dressed as his new version of The Joker from Suicide Squad," Slash Film reported. "That was probably a nice surprise once this picture started making the rounds online."

Was the Joker fan creeped out that Jared Leto posed in a photo with him without him even knowing? The fan in the photo is yet to come forward to claim his fame.

More than a month after "Suicide Squad" wrapped up, there are rumors that Jared Leto could still be channeling his Joker personality.

"The 43-year-old star looked twice as nice as he went for a stroll in New York City's SoHo neighbourhood," Daily Mail previously reported last week.

"Jared's brightly patterned harem trousers and colour-slashed poncho went well with his slicked back hair, which he died pink not long after wrapping up his role as The Joker in the superhero flick Suicide Squad six weeks ago."

"The star is known for his Method acting style, in which he stays inside the mind of the character he's playing even away from the camera," the report continued.

Even Jared Leto's "Suicide Squad" co-stars have noticed the actor's dedication to his Joker role. Will Smith recently raved about the "Requiem For A Dream" star's performance.

"I've never actually met Jared Leto," Will Smith reportedly told Zane Lowe on Beats Radio 1, as quoted by New York Daily News.

"We worked together for six months and we've never exchanged a word outside of 'Action!' and 'Cut!' I literally have not met him yet. So, the first time I see him will be 'Hey, Jared. What's up?' He was all-in on the Joker."
