Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, is allegedly becoming a princess - in a television series, that is.
According to a news report, the actress will be playing the role of a princess in a period drama entitled "Doctor Thorne."
"A long regal gown, fussed over by attendants... why, this could be a real-life rehearsal for Prince Harry's on-off love interest Cressida Bonas," Mirror wrote in a news article.
"Here she is making her screen acting debut on the set of TV period drama Doctor Thorne. Cressida, 26, plays Patience Oriel and gets a reassuring hand on her back from actor Nicholas Rowe, 48. Bit different to going to the rugby with Harry, 31. Question is, will she end up as HIS drama Queen?"
News of Cressida Bonas playing the role of a princess broke amid rumors that Prince Harry's sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, is allegedly rooting for Chelsy Davy to be the next member of the British royal family.
"Kate doesn't like Cressida at all," a source told Life & Style, as previously quoted in a news report by Independent. "It's not just that she thinks Cressida isn't a love match for Harry. It goes deeper than that. She doesn't want her in the family."
According to the report, Kate Middleton even had Prince William on board against the British Actress.
"Kate's even told William to warn Harry against her. She does not trust Cressida," the source continued.
Celeb Dirty Laundry gave an explaination as to why Kate Middleton doesn't want Cressida Bonas to marry her brother-in-law.
"The Duchess of Cambridge fears Cressida's role in the royal family and the fact that her step-sister is Isabella Calthorpe - the woman Prince William really wanted to marry," CDL wrote in its news report.
"Kate Middleton won't forget about being dubbed Waity Katie before being briefly dumped so William could propose to Isabella. Basically, Prince William and Isabella Calthorpe are the equivalent to Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles. Just as Camilla was Charles' real love and first choice for a wife, Isabella is Prince William's real love and first choice for a wife."
