Apart from his Queen gig, Adam Lambert is also preparing for his first solo tour in 2016 in the UK after a long time to promote his new album "Original High."
The "American Idol" alum will perform at Eventin Apollo on April 14 in London, before going to the Manchester Academy on April 16.
"The tour follows the release of Lambert's third studio album, The Original High. Though he's played several times in the UK in his role as Queen's touring lead singer, he hasn't played his own headline show here in half a decade," noted Gigwise.
Adam Lambert didn't go on a solo tour after "Tresspassing" came out.
"There was a couple of freestanding (American) dates," Lambert told
Billboard. "But unfortunately... I mean, you know, it's common knowledge Trespassing wasn't quite the commercial success that we all had hoped it would be, which would have supported a tour."
"I'm really, really thankful that the fans ate it up, and that we debuted at No. 1 on the (Billboard 200) chart. That was lovely. I stand by the album."
Instead, Adam Lambert went on to tour with Queen to sold out arenas in Europe, US and South America.
For the US market, Adam Lambert's solo tour for "Original High" is next scheduled to be on Monday, Nov. 30, at the State Farm Arena, McAllen, Texas with Carly Rae Jepsen and Becky G as guests.
