Katy Perry ( Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson), singer-songwriter and actress, topped the Forbes list of 2015's highest-paid women in music industry, according to Forbes.com.
She cashed a mega-$135 million this year, with most of her sales from Prismatic World Tour. The "Roar" singer, 31, earned this huge amount with more than $2 million per city over the course of 126 shows over a period of June,2014 to June,2015 and also through endorsements deals with Coty, Claire's and Covergirl. Last year, the "Dark Horse" singer, was placed fifth in the list earning with just $40 million. She has scaled up with whooping amount of $95 million in just one year.
Taylor Swift bagged the second place in the list with $80 million. Though, Swift didn't top the list, even after earning $4 million per city. 2015 has been a great year for her with "1989" album topping the charts. The British-American Iconic rock band Fleetwood Mac was placed third in the Forbes list with $59.5 million, with only two women in the band, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie. The band did "On With The Show Tour" with 86 concerts in total, earning $1 million per city.
Lady Gaga landed in the fourth place with $ 59 million earnings. The "Poker Face" singer did 66 shows and some deals with Versace , Mac cosmetics and earned profits with her Fame fragrance. Beyonce ended up in the list with $54.5 million to her kitty and with the fifth psosition. The singer did "On the Run Tour" with her husband Jay Z in North America that grossed over $100million in 19 show dates and also some deals with Pepsi and L'Ore'al.
