Derrick Rose's name has been thrown into multiple NBA trade rumors and a recent report claimed that the former MVP's stint with the Chicago Bulls might soon come to an end.
Brian Windhorst of ESPN said that the Chicago Bulls are on the process of distancing itself from Derrick Rose.
"The Derrick Rose breakup with the Bulls has begun," he said. "I don't know how long it's going to last. I don't know when it's going to be complete, but you can sort of see it."
He continued, "The team and the franchise have moved on to a little bit of a certain extent. ... His attitude has been not terrific. The comments that he made about his contract in 2017, you want to talk about being tone deaf?"
Windhorst referred to the comment by Derrick Rose back in September about his feelings on the upcoming free agency.
"My mindset was I was working out every day and spending as much time as possible with my son, making sure my family is financially stable," he said, as reported by Chicago Tribune.
"As far as you see all the money they're passing out in this league - just telling the truth - and knowing my day will be coming up soon. It's not for me. It's for (son) P.J. and his future. So that's what I'm thinking about right now."
But what does Derrick Rose think of all the NBA trade rumors involving him?
The former MVP was interviewed by Craig Sager after the Bulls' huge win over the Oklahoma Thunder.
"I'm so numb to it, man," he said. "I try to stay away from it. I know who I am as a person and a player, and I know how hard I work, how much I dedicate my whole life to this sport.
Previous NBA trade rumors claimed that the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers are thinking about a deal where Derrick Rose can be swapped for Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle or D'Angelo Russell.
