"Back to the Future," an American science fiction film may witness an onscreen comeback soon in the near future, quoted FranchiseHerald.com.
Christopher Lloyd, who played the role of a doctor Emmet Brown in the "Back to the Future" movie series, showed his interest in being a part of the movie, if the sequel was ever going to be made,in an interview with The HollywoodReporter.
Christopher who is 77 now, said it might be challenging for someone to make a new movie and contain the same excitement that the series have had. The last installment from the series came in 1990; the actors have certainly aged with the time, told the actor in an interview with The HollywoodReporter. The "Back to the Future" franchise recently celebrated their 30th anniversary in October,2015.
Lea Thompson, the actress who played the role of Lorraine Baines McFly, also expressed her desire to be in the new movie, in her interview with The Toronto Sun. The actress further discussed the setbacks in using the age make-ups, which hamper the actor to make any facial movements, and if the make-up is not taken care of, then it may ruin all the day by tearing off. The actress also quoted in her interview, the same in relation to the movie, as she played the role of a mother to the Marty McFly in the "Back to the Future" series.
In the movie, the characters Marty McFly, Doc Brown and Jennifer Park had travelled to the future date, which was Oct. 21, 2015. This date just passed last month and most of the fans remembered the date and the movie, and some of them even drew comparisons from the 'day in the movie' and the 'present day.'
Christopher was recently seen in an advertisement for Toyota, based on the "Back to the Future" series. The first installment of the series was released in 1985, which enjoyed a huge success, followed by other two installments.
