The "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is now available for Xbox One and it comes with a new Lara Croft, as well as impressive character voice overs, visuals and tomb testings packed with puzzles.

Tomb Raider 2013 fans will feel at home with the recent follow up in throwing back Lara Croft into the spotlight. The PC version is coming in the first quarter next year.

As per "Rise of the Tomb Raider" review by IGN, the newly released game is the most fun with Lara Croft since 1996. The story is full of intrigue and danger, while the tombs are despicable.

Like the past Tomb Raider games, it has a slight sci-fi tone and a fun high-concept that involves a search for an artifact which can give eternal life. "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is about Lara Croft and her father. The performance of actress Camilla Luddington as Lara Croft sells on her relationship with the ghosts.

The smart and confident Croft reacts to danger with intuition and calmness like any hero. Scarred during her last adventure, she naturally suffers from some sort of weariness. The endearing character is just shining minute by minute.

Croft this time has more complex ambitions as she is now driven by obsession, and not on survival. The heroine becomes a more formidable fighter who inflicts more. Her traversing world also expands and her tools now include a wire spool for hook latching while she is airborne. She uses arrows to climb up vertical surfaces while her rope arrows are also used more.

Supporting cast members are less developed, having less screen time than the antagonists. The most thrilling moments are the acrobatic and frantic chases though there is not much in the puzzle solving.

However, the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" has Lara Croft as a more potent fighter that gamers need not avoid combat. She can nail bombs, molotov cocktails, smoke bombs and special ammos. These and more are fun and add a great deal to variety during enemy encounters.

"Rise of the Tome Raider" is available online on the Xbox One store, a post on Windows Central said.
