"Neon Light" hitmaker Demi Lovato, will be joined by her pal Nick Jonas on her "Future Now" worldwide tour and they are currently working on more songs for their performances.

Meanwhile, the singer reportedly replaced Adam Lambert with Nick Jonas, prompting "The American Idol" alum to call her unprofessional.

According to an insider from The Hollywood Life, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are now preparing their performance for the upcoming tour.

"They have done it before and are going to do it again," an insider told. "They are working on some music together that hopefully will give them another duet to do with each other and another song they can perform together during their tour."

The source added that if things go well on their tour, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas will consider doing an album together.

"The music has to be there and they are both confident that something will pan out."

For his part, the 23-year-old crooner Nick Jonas said that though they are business partner, he and the "Really Don't Care" singer are friends.

"Demi and I, we're business partners [and] obviously have a long history of being friends, but the key for us was about living in this moment," Nick Jonas told in an interview with "Good Morning America."

Before Nick Jonas was announced as Demi Lovato's company in her tour, it was reported that "The American Idol" alumni Adam Lambert was initially the first choice.

But the 33-year-old hitmaker was reportedly "hurt" by Demi Lovato's decision to ditch him over Nick Jonas.

A source from TMZ said that Adam Lambert considered her as "very unprofessional and unethical."

In another report, Selena Gomez, who is also having her "Revival" tour, is rumored to be getting Adam Lambert to compete with the duo's concerts.
