The "I Am Cait" season 2 crew caught Caitlyn Jenner confront a protester during an even in Chicago. The run-in was reported by Radar Online, wherein an LGBT advocate lashed out at the reality star for being "an insult to trans people."

The former "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" patriarch gave a speech at the recent 7th annual Speaker Series luncheon for the Chicago House. The said organization provides services to those impacted by HIV - AIDS.

After her talk, Caitlyn Jenner was about to leave the venue when an angry protester called her out. "You are an insult to trans people, you are an insult to women," the unnamed person told the 65-year-old TV star.

The camera crew of "I Am Cait" season 2 caught the altercation, wherein Caitlyn Jenner bravely defended herself from the protester.

"The chaos outside was a great contrast to the uplifting atmosphere inside where Caitlyn had just given her speech," B96 Chicago radio announcer Showbiz Shelly narrated.

"I thought she handled the situation with poise. By confronting the protesters in the way she did, she emphasized the themes she talked about in her speech: To be respectful, be brave and stand up for what you believe in."

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight online, insiders behind "I Am Cait" season 2 clarified that the run-in was not staged at all.

"We didn't know Caitlyn was going to talk back to the protesters," an insider said.

"None of it was staged."

The group who confronted Caitlyn Jenner reportedly has a protest page on Facebook entitled "I Ain't Cait," which stand against economic inequality within the LGBT community.

"Who did [Chicago House] select to speak on the issues facing trans people and especially trans women in our city?" the protester wrote on their Facebook event page. "Caitlyn Jenner, who lives in a mansion and has a net worth of millions of dollars, while the average trans person has a 41 percent chance of experiencing homelessness and a nearly 50 percent chance of living off less than $10k per year."
